SIEGLE + EPPLE Romania
Complete solutions from S+E

The air at the shop floor level in factories is subject to a number of requirements. In addition to supply of fresh air, it is necessary for all polluted air to be removed from the working space. From its own comprehensive product range, Siegle+Epple can supply complete systems, from air outlets, air induction and discharge chimneys to heat recovery plants.

Tailor-made air outlets for specific requirements

Air outlets are produced on ultra-modern & flexible CNC machines. In addition to the latest technologies, manufacturing processes continue to make use of skilled craftsmanship, a tradition at Siegleand Epple going back over seventy-five years.
The range of air outlets embraces a variety of standard models and special versions made to customers' specifications with wide-ranging forms of perforation and individual designs. Our customers specify their requirements - we design appropriate solutions.

The policy of Siegle and Epple is to develop and manufacture innovative products, to set standards and to keep the market moving forward. Customers' systems are thoroughly tested and documented in our own modern R&D department. Air distribution patterns can be visualized by smoke tests and detected with high precision airflow sensors, taking account of specific, on-site conditions. Siegle and Epple products are distinguished by the highest quality standards, absolute reliability and long endurance.
1.Radial flow outlets
With Siegle and Epple radial flow diffusers, by contrast, cold air is blown upwards at a shallow angle at a height of three to five metres. It disperses in a parabolic pattern and sinks towards the floor without causing any draughts. Warm, polluted air rises again. Mixing with the fresh air is significantly reduced.

In standard form the radial flow diffuser consists of a perforated sheet metal cylinder and adjustable openings, permitting the airflow angle to be adapted to the respective application. The adjustment process may be performed manually, by an electrical actuator or automatically.

Depending on the model, the outlet is mounted in an overhead position on a support on a wall.
2.Diffuser air outlets
Diffuser ventilation meets the increasingly demanding requirements for the quality of air at the industrial workplace while, at the same time, removing heat to a considerable extent.

Due to the heat difference between the air emerging from the outlet and the air in the workshop, a low speed forced airflow is generated near the floor, a so-called ,cold air pool‘.

Within the vicinity of heat sources, the air itself heats up, moving heat and pollutants upwards and away from the work area. The layer which separates polluted air from fresh air at the workplace is formed at a height of about 3 m.
Standard designs:
Semicircular diffuser air outlets are available in four sizes (KA-HR1 – KA-HR4), round outlets in three sizes (KA-QR 35, KA-QR 45, KA-QR 56) and rectangular outlets expelling air on one side (KA-ES) and both sides (KA-BS). In addition, we offer a comprehensive range of non-standard versions, special materials (stainless steel) and a variety of paint finishes to meet customers requirements.

Our special slot pattern permits air to be expelled at a higher momentum without this giving rise to any noticeable draughts in the vicinity of the outlet. It also creates an impression of durability as well as increasing mechanical strength. Appropriate internal fittings ensure a uniform outflow of fresh air, which disperses radially throughout the entire area of the workshop..
3.Adjustable diffuser air outlet for heating and cooling applications

The new generation of KA-QRV adjustable diffuser outlets can be used for two purposes – heating or cooling – in a single unit. At the same time, they embody the same advantages, forms of construction and functions as their standard counterparts. For heating purposes, an adjustment facility permits the diffused airflow to be overlaid by an airflow directed downwards at a higher momentum. This increases the depth of penetration of the warm air into the work area and enables industrial work shops to be economically ventilated and heated. The adjustment process can be carried out manually or by means of an electric actuator.
4.Active cooling column

The KA-KS type active cooling column is a stand-alone cooling air diffuser unit. It delivers cooled, diffused air in a recirculating mode by way of a perforated outlet. A fan and heat exchanger (with control circuit) are mounted inside the column. The unit can operate at varying flow rates. It is connected to the on-site cold water system by way of tubes in the top. Mobile active cooling columns are suitable for use in hot industrial production environments. Given their low noise emissions, they are also suitable for use in laboratories.
5.Induction and discharge chimneys

Induction and discharge chimneys constitute the interface between the atmosphere and the building. In many construction projects, they are incorporated into the overall architectural design. Usually mounted in exposed positions, they are required to meet demanding functional and architectural requirements. Deflector chimneys Discharged air is expelled vertically upwards at a high momentum from the KA-DK2 series of deflector chimneys. Pressure losses are low, ensuring energy saving operation. They also develop little noise, complying with the demanding requirements for components of this type. Chimneys reliably prevent rain from entering the building by way of the air duct system. The high quality of workmanship which typifies their exterior appearance is visually impressive and any desired colour can be specified.
Induction and discharge chimneys Siegle+Epple induction and discharge chimneys combine functionality with outstanding appearance. They are designed in close cooperation with architects and designers. Air is drawn in by way of angled plates. Discharged air is expelled in a similar manner. The design largely prevents rain and foreign bodies from penetrating into the air duct system. Chimneys are made of stainless steel or coated sheet steel and can be tailor-made in accordance with specific diameters and heights for individual architectural projects.
